Ancient Beach Boutique & Spa - Beachfront Hotel

I travel frequently and long term so I am very choosy about where I stay. Many reviews of places can seem a little sceptical but this is my first hand and honest experience. I must say that people who write bad reviews need to remember what the cost of a hotel like this would cost in the West for example, it wouldn't even buy me breakfast at home. This hotel exceeded my expectations in all ways. Where do I begin to rate a hotel that is perfect in every way. It is under new ownership so the staff will go out of their way to ensure you are 100% happy and that the accommodation is kept to the highest standard. The staff are really what makes the hotel extra special. The cleanliness is exceptional as is the breakfast, the location, the super clean swimming pool, the service and the facilities. There is even a lift! The attached spa offers great treatments which I definitely used. Cross the road and up a small laneway and you are right on the beach. Umbrellas and sunbeds available for hire. Beautiful beach. Many very good and cheap restaurants minutes away in either direction and one particularly good one right next door, Broccoli. Most importantly, it is very quiet unlike the craziness of the Old Town and surrounding areas but only a ten minute Grab ride in when you want to visit . My experience here was so good that I have rebooked for a further 10 days, it is a piece of paradise far away from the madding crowds but still within easy reach when you want it. Do yourself a favour and book, you won't be disappointed.

This small, family run hotel is a delight. We initially booked for four nights but liked it so much we extended for a further six days. The location is excellent, being only around 200 mtrs from the beach and many very good restaurants close by. It is positioned between the river and the sea allowing lovely walks along either one. There is also a small and very refreshing pool at the hotel. Our room was spacious, super clean and very comfortable. There was a lovely balcony to sit and have a cold drink in the evening. There is a fridge and coffee\tea making facilities. The bathroom is great - a "wet room" configuration with excellent hot water and very good pressure. The bed - so comfortable! One of the best we've had! Breakfast gave all the usual options - eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fruit etc served al a carte style. Outside our room is a lounge with a sofa for the rainy days. We would highly recommend the Ancient Beach Boutique and Spa - staff were friendly and helpful and it is exceptional value for money.

Words cannot express our deep appreciation for our stay here. My partner and I are digital nomads; we travel a lot and basically live in hotels. We’ve stayed in very high and mid-range accommodations; Ancient Beach Boutique far exceeded our expectations and we can positively say it was our BEST experience for the value. Our original plan was to stay for 2 nights, but like many other guests here, we extended for a month. They made it so comfortable for any of us to want to leave. For its value, this hotel breaks the scale for the hospitality it offers. Facilities: - The rooms are exactly as you see on the pictures - no surprises - Well-maintained furniture, bed is comfortable, you don’t hear your neighbors - Everything, everywhere is clean - Yes, I snooped in the kitchen too and it is spotless :) - Daily housecleaning - They do an amazing job. Breakfast: - You order the day before, so when you come down in the morning, you help yourself to the buffet of fresh fruits, banana pancakes, toast/jam/honey, coffee/tea/orange juice, and by the time you settle in your seat, your delicious breakfast is served. Now that’s service. They manage this place with passion and care, and it is apparent in the way they interact with each other. We were not treated like just a paying guest; we were valued and taken care of as an actual person - which makes a huge difference in the authenticity. They provided recommendations for things we may enjoy as tourists, went above and beyond to help us with any personal requests, and they were super responsive to any hotel queries. During our long-term stay, they made us feel at home, without any overstep or discomfort. Our only complaint is that they have raised our standards for accommodation too high. It is the absolute perfect place to stay to slow down, relax, and explore Hoi An without the stresses of the city center.

Out of all the places in Vietnam, Hoi An, has on average, the best places to stay. Even in this saturated market, Ancient Beach is exceptional. The staff and service are all fantastic. the rooms are modern, clean and full of natural light. The breakfast is great. And the value for money is unbeatable. It also happens to be a two minute walk from the nicest beach in the area. I’ve been coming to Hoi A for years and stayed in many different Hotels, but I will certainly stay here again on my next trip to Hoi An.

Everything! All the stuff was SO nice, really friendly and always willing to help: they did recommendations, helped us with the laundry and rented a motorbike for us. They made us feel really comfortable. The room was really big and nicely decorated, it was super cozy and the breakfast was really good. This place has a ver high quality/price relationship and I strongly recommend it to anyone that wants to stay close to hoi an but rest far from all the noise and crowds
